A blower is a mechanical device that is mainly used to inhale, compress and exhale air, thereby achieving gas transportation or increasing gas pressure. It relies on input mechanical energy to increase gas pressure and discharge gas. According to the size of the outlet pressure, fans can be divided into ventilators, blowers and compressors. Blowers are usually used for gas transportation, exhaust and pressurization in industrial processes, and are commonly used in sewage treatment, biopharmaceuticals, food processing, cement building materials, chemicals, electricity, metallurgy and other fields. The main components of a blower include a motor, an air filter, a blower body, an air chamber, a base (also an oil tank) and a drip nozzle. During operation, the blower uses the eccentric operation of the offset rotor in the cylinder to change the volume between the blades in the rotor slot, thereby achieving air inhalation, compression and exhalation. In addition, the blower also uses a lubrication system, which uses the pressure difference of the blower to automatically send the lubricating oil to the drip nozzle and drip into the cylinder to reduce friction and noise, while keeping the gas in the cylinder from flowing back.
There are many types of blowers, including but not limited to Roots blowers, blast furnace blowers, centrifugal blowers, etc. For example, a blast furnace blower is a power machine that can convert the energy of the prime mover into gas energy to ensure the oxygen required in the blast furnace. The magnetic levitation blower is a high-tech, green, energy-saving and environmentally friendly product. It uses non-contact, mechanical friction-free magnetic levitation bearings and high-speed, high-power permanent magnet synchronous motors to directly drive high-efficiency fluid impellers. It has the advantages of high efficiency, low noise, few failures, and no need for a lubrication system. The gas blower is a special power equipment for transporting gas during the purification of coke oven gas. These different types of blowers meet different industrial needs according to their specific application scenarios and technical characteristics.
